Hi everyone!

This layout I completed for the Step by Step at Home and Scrapped! Mistra does a fantastic job of this every month and I wish they were every week! It was great fun!

I took heaps of photos on Australia Day when Mum's best friend of over 60 years came to visit on her way home to Adelaide! It was a beautiful day and I took thesse photos in mums front garden! We had a lovely family/friends get together and it was great to catch up with 'Aunty Val'!

Sorry evreyone for the delay between post this week! Back a t work fulltime and less time to do what I want!

On a better note, I have this week off to recharge my batteries, so plan to do a few things around the house I want to get done and scrap, scrap, scrap!

Taking cody to Melbourne for the day on Thursday, as I need to get his birth certificate so he can get his 'L' plates! OMG! Going down with a friend to Lara by car then jumping on train to Melbourne! Should be a fun day out! Haven't been to the 'big city' for a while!

This layout I created for Challenge Heaven! Had to use black and red and 2 other colurs; I used cream and green, distressing and a flourish! The pics are our photo shoot xmas 09 with our santa Hats on! Hope to have some more layouts up during the week for you to peek at!

"Valentine's Day Flowers!"

Well Girls, I think you should be proud of the quality and quantity of flowers you produced this afternoon!Absolutely gorgeous!

Today we made Mistra's Dodgy Flowers (which were a hit Mis!), Cabbage Roses, Tea Bag Folded Flowers, Tissue paper carnations, Scollop Puched flowers, book paper flowers, button flowers and a few of you had a go at some other nested flowers!

I went out to my garden this morning and picked my own Valentines Day Roses! They have done very well even with this hot weather!

Great Day girls, I think you enjoyed yourself even with my sometimes weird instructions!!LOL!!

"New Beginings ATC'S"

These are my Artist Trading Cards for the swap at Scrap n Art! The theme was New Beginings!

My job is changing from the 1st of March which is going to be a good thing for me, and looking forward to a new begining at work when I start back full-time on the 1/3/10 from a weeks R & R!

Having a bit of me time and it starts Thursday night with a relaxing date with my hairdresser and a bit of colour!!!!

I used the lovely Follow your dreams stamp from "Kaszazz" and some of the cute mini letters from Kaiser which I love using!

This is my lo I did this morning for the Get Challenged Now Group at Home and Scrapped!

I made the layout using metal, layering and multiple photos! It is of Jayden's first Basketball game witht his team the Rebel Rattlers! He enjoys it thouroughly and can't wait to play! They are 2nd on the ladder and not going too bad for their first season together! I used some lovely Creative Memories Basket Ball themed papers and stickers!

This is the layout for Home and Scrapped What do you want? game in the Forum!

I wanted to be abe to sit in "my space" for 10 mins without being diturbed"! Just one of those days ewhen everytime I went to do something I would have to attend to something else! Then as I was the lucky 26th reply I had to scrap about what I wanted! It was fun to do!

The other photo is of some more flowers I made for the 14th, for my Embellishment Workshop!

I made some from tissue paper, some of Mistra's Dodgy Flowers, a couple from old book pages, used the scollop punch for a couple, had a go at a a pleated one and made a few Cabbage Roses down the bottom! They are great fun to make and don't take much time or supplies; mainly scraps!!!

I haven't had the urge to make any cards for ages, but i joined a swap group at the Boxx for a monthly swap! The theme was nature and I was dying to use my new Dragon Fly stamp from "Kaszazz"! Used some Ivory card and some paper from Kaiser and come up with these!

I have only used my scraps to make these lovely Tea bag folded flowers and the forgeous "Dodgy" flowers that the lovelyMistra makes over at home and Scrapped! There will also be a couple of others to try and if any of you are interested I am going to show you how to use the "Cuttlebug" and what you can do with it!

Should be a great avo, hope you can come along! Just bring some scraps of double sided paper or whatever you want to make your embellies out of!

"Brother and Sister"

This Sepia photo I thought was perfect for the Colour Challenge at Aussie Girls! It is a photo I snapped of my step-dad who will be 95 on the 21st March and his gorgeous sister Daisy!

I used mostly "Kaszazz products on this lo which I didn't actually realised I did! I used the Ebony and Ivory die cut patterned paper, the Uncut Love and Cherish Stamp set and the Definition paper! I made the flower embellies, and used Kaiser pearls and rhinestones! I also sanded the photo to give it an aged look! This lo seem to come together quickly and I love it!

You will be able to have a go at making these embellishments at my Feburary 14th Workshop, so come along!

"Weekend Scrapping!"

The weekend thank god and finally some time to scrap! Been very busy and very tired this week and haven't felt like being very creative!

I did these two layouts for Aussie Girls Gone Scrappin as I hadn't made a start on Jan challneges! I have been busy making ATC'S, cards and embelishments for swaps though!

The fist pic was for Amanda's About Me challenge! I had to use a Movie title, journal in my hand writing, use bling and a non-scrapbook item which was a clothes tag!

The second one was for Jo's Circle challenge; using at least 3 circles, stars and journalling! I masked the stars made a journal block and made scollop circles with my Nesabitilies Die in my Cuttlebug!

These photos are of JJ's Xmas Present Nibbles and Scheemer! They are the cutest little mice and I wasn't keen in the first place but now they are part of the family! It is Jayden's responsibility to keep them clean, feed them and keep them company! He is doing an excellent job!

"Hang'n Out & Brother's In Arms"

Hi Girls

Another couple of layouts I have created for challenges!

The first one is a Step by Step Class that I have been doing with Mistra at home and Scrapped this last week and it has been so much fun! Did some distressing and tearing holes in the paper which was a good de-stresser! Journalled straight onto the layout which I normally don't do, and used a tea bag folded flower! I used a lovely photo of the boys taken a couple of years ago and journalled about their strong bond as brothers!

The other layout is a class I did with the Chook Scraps girls and learnt some different background techniques using cardboard, paper towel and bubble-wrap! This was fun! Also learnt how to make cute tea bag Folded flowers which are great on a male lo as they aren't as 'girly'! I used mesh instead of lace and made a lollipop flower also! This one I used a photo of cody and "his girl Willo'!

"My Little Houses" and "Heaven Scent"

Hi Everyone,

Finished my blind Scrap I did with Shell at Challenge Heaven Thursday Night! Very happy with it and it does look like Shell's! LOL Had fun doing freehand scollops and doodling which I should do more of! Used a couple of pics of my gorsgeous "Blue Moon" on the left and "Double Delight" on the right!

Also a pic of my Feburary "House" theme ATC Swap at born 2 Create! These were lots of fun to make! I stamped the children, new heart flourish from "Kaszazz" and the buttons on the roof!

Heading off to bed now as 5am get up in the morning! Not one of the lucky ones that get an extra "long weekend" :( for Australia Day!

This is my newest addiction to my Scrapbooking storage! This is a Bamix First Aide caddy that I found in an op shop! I gave it a wipe over and put a couple of labels on it and it looks pretty good! It unrolls and I have all my brads, buttons. clips etc in the one place! It goes together sort of like a puzzel and nothing falls out! Very Coool!!! I used my Dymo labeler on the outside so I can see where I have stored the different itiems!

It has lots of little compartments to store my brads, clips, buttons, eyelets etc! I have been able to get rid of all the "little" bits and pieces I was storing my embellishments in! You never know what you might find when you least expect it!!

"Muddy Paws"

This layout of Willo and Nitro playing in the vegie garden and getting all muddy is my challenge for the Wednesday night Scrapover at Home and Scrapped!

I couldn't join in on the night as was too late for me getting up at 5am!!! Had to use chipboard, but in a different way than usual! I opted for trying out the Dusty Concord Ranger Distress Paint from "Kaszazz" to see the effects! Great product but need to layer it a bit thicker for a deeper crackle! One of my favourite colours in the Distress range! I also used Bazzill cs, Bella pp

and stamped the paw prints with Walnut stain distress ink!

"Computer Rules!"

Created this layout for a Cyber Crop Challenge at Home and Scrapped! You had ato use a law that kim put up or you could find one! I found the law-"computers let you waste time efficiently".

I thought this was quite apt to use with a photo of my boyz on the computers!!!! They mainly play World of Warcraft together! Cody is obsessed!!! LOL

"Rare 64 and Our Present"

These two layouts I did yesterday and started a third with a couple of friends over for a scrapping afternoon! We had heaps of fun and got a 'bit' of scrapping done! LOL

The first one was for Home and Scrapped and doubled as a challenge lo for Challenge Heaven!This one I dry brushed the background with white Kaiser Acrylic paint, stamped the "Kaszazz" baubles and tree flourishes and used brads on them , used ribbon and patterned paper!

This was great to do a layout of some xmas photos of mum, Alison, Crystal and myself all together!

The second layout I made for Home and Scrapped which was a Blind Challenge where I had to gather supplies listed and follow the instruction! This is a great way to get creative! Jayden took lots of photos and he thought the number plate on a car was quite apt for me to use as a title for a page! He is a funny kid! It came up quite good! i used different scraps of pp I had and stamped the new "Kaszazz "Flourish stamp and my little 'Oscar Owl'!

"Nitro"

I have just finished this layout of "Nitro" our beautiful Jack Russell for Heather's Sketch Challenge! He is a little devil and I found these two lovely photos of him!

Great fun to create! I love brown and blue together and it suited these photos! I made the scollop edge with punches, painted the chipboard heart and bracket and stamped them!

"Cyber Crop at Home and Scrapped"

Yipee!!!

This weekend is the Cyber Crop at Home and Scrapped! The girls are all getting their challenges posted and some great ones there is! I have started Heathers Sketch Challenge and the next challenge is a "poppets" page! It is great to get out of your "comfort zone" and try new things! I find I am scrapping alot more! I will have heaps of pages to scrap tmorrow at my "Scrapping" day with the girls!!!

This is the "Calender" layout sample I posted for my challenge! I use a template and cut out the phots and formed a flower! I stamped the months and embellished with brads and buttons! I challenged the girls to make a page depicting a calender in some form like a review of a week, month, or year! They have to use a cs base, buttons, brads, stamping and lots of photos!

"Year 12 - 2009"

This double page layout I did to finish off Cody's Yr 12 graduation photos! I made it for a challenge using blue, black and white at Challenge Heaven! I thought these photos suited the colours! I had to use stamping and I stamped the felt bird, the background, the white Kaiser flowers , tags and made little dragon fly embellishments! This was heaps of fun to do and I scrapped 8 4x6 photos! I love using lots of photos and did you notice I never used a "scrap of patterened paper!"........

Tomorrow night is the startof this Weekends Cyber Crop at Home and Scrapped! I am hosting a challenge during the weekend and can't wait to tell the girls about my challenge! "Keepin Busy"- 'Kitty Angel & Yr 12 Grad'

A couple more challenge layouts I have beeen doing!

The first one is a 'blog hop challenge' to give the girls at Home and Scrapped something to get their 'mojo' going! Used the challenge from http://www.hmitm.blogspot.com/ How Much is too Much. A great blog to get the scrap stash used. I started Cody's Yr 12 Graduation photos! Had to use 5 pieces of chipboard; which is the title and the big scroll, 4 peices of pp on the photo mattes and the 1/2 cirlce, 3 sentences of journalling, 2 die cuts which I used my cuttlebug to make and one piece of cardstock ! Great fun!

The second layout is the Jan Numbers challenge from Challenge Heaven! I did this special layout of Sasha who is now my 'kitty angel' in heaven! I used a love heart which I covered with ribbon, 2 jorunalling strips, 3 buttons and 4 photos!I think this helped scrapping these photos! I have lots of photos to scrap of her and I am going to make an album about her as I had her for 10 years and she was very special to me!

Another couple of layouts to share with you! have been "keeping busy"!

This first lo is my "Theme Challenge- Games" at Aussie Girls. I used photos of me playing poker with Jayden and his new Poker set! I didn't win a game but it was fun spending time with Cody and Jayden! I used poker chips, that Jayden donated as an embellsishment, the Jenny Bowlin Lucky bingo card, playing cards and ribbon!

The top layout was for the Male theme challenge at Aussie Girls also! Had to be male. use metal embellies and ribbon! I used my jumbo eyelets, brads and metal words! Cody and JJ were water fighting Xmas 08 with their new water guns! they had heaps of fun and even though Cody is growing up he still likes to "play" with his little bro!

Just a reminder girls that my first 2010 workshop is on this Sunday! Just bring along what you want to make weather it be, pages, cards or off the page projects! It will be a nice relaxing avo of scrappin to start you off for the new year!

"Blossom"

I have been trying to keep busy today and trying not to think of "Sasha" tooo much by scrapbooking! I have been getting some layouts done but its not really helping!

This pic is of my 2nd January Challenge a tHome and Scrapped! You had to use masks and as I love this technique it was a no brainer! I used the Tim Holtz Flourish with Kaisercraft paint and Old Mahogoney distress ink! I made the litttle flower embellies! I used this sketch on lo a while ago and it looks great with a nice sized photo!

I took this photo of my nectarine tree in blossom last spring and I got enlarged to do a challenge with! It has the best tasting nectarines on it every year!!!!

"Gone but not Forgotten!"

This is a picture I took of my darling cat Sasha last night! She was cooling off by the fan with the pups! Little did I know it would be the last photo I would take of her as later that evening she was hit by a car! She visited across the road regularly and I was always telling her to get off the road! Our poor neighbour found her and came and let us know! It was very distressing and I know it's the hard part of having pets!

I am still pretty upset as I had her for 10 years and she was a xmas present from my partner Jason! We have done a bit of crying last night and this morning and I know she was only a cat, but she was "my cat" We are going to miss her and I know our other pets know there is someone missing!

"One Day At A Time!"

This is a challenge layout for Aussie Girls that I just completed! It was Amanda'a about me challenge where you had to use a book titke to describe you and use distressing!

This was a fun layout to do and I used a sketch from Home and Scrapped that I just changed to suit my photo! I distressed my book page by burning it and used Tim Holtz ink to distress my papers and embellies! I am having ago at using sketches as they seem to take the "thinking" out of my layouts for me!

"Gone Fish'n"

Cody snapped this photo of me, when Jason and I took the kids fishing March last year, down to "Lake Bullen Merri". We plan to take the boys fishing more often this year! I'm wearing my "pink" fishing hat!

I got some nice photos of the lake and of the kids fishing and have yet to scrap them, but I will be now!

I did this sketch challenge for my first on over at Home and Scrapped, this was fun to do and not a girly page!

Artist Trading Cards- ATC'S

Artist trading cards are little works of art that measure 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. They are usually two sheets of cardstock thick for durability and you can use any medium and decorated them anyway you like!

I think I have caught the bug with them! I am having a go at Loobyloo's challenge and swap at Born 2 Create! Make an ATC with the "NEW" theme! My boys gave me a lovely new bag for xmas so mine is related to that! I had to start somewhere so I took a deep breathe and dived in!

I used plain white cardstock and inked it with Mahoganey Distress Ink! I then used a punch and made a little border, and a little bit of black ric-rac! I made a punchie handbag with a bit of bling and ribbon and stamped a dragonfly! Then used mini alphas for my title and wrote the year on it!

They are now ready to post Monday and I can't wait to see what all the other girls created!!

"Out With The Old!"

No! I don't mean me! I've had a "New Years" spring clean of the scrapping stuff I haven't used in the last 12 months! You would be surprised at what you collect! Anything that I hadn't used either went out or I'm recycling it to my sister!

I got rid of one big table that was taking up toooo much room and put back my bookcase and my trusty shelf unit on my desk! I hung some clipboards I altered on the wall next to me with my lettering stencils, masks,stickers, rub ons etc! I have everything I use the most in front of me and other items on the bookcase!

Everything is in arms reach and I can spend time Scrapping not looking for supplies! I think I will get lots of layouts done this year and use my stash!

I also wanted to show you the great "Xmas Embellies" from our swap a t Aussie Girls! they are sooo cute!

I have joined a Challenge Forum called Home and Scrapped and they are a lovely friendly bunch of ladies! Heather Waldron asked me if I would like to post a challenge for our January Cyber Crop on the 15th -17th January! Very excited to be asked as I am a fairly new member! Have worked out the challenge and just need to do my example to post on the day with instructions!

Welcome to 2010 every one and I hope to share some great scrapping with you all this year!

My first post for 2010, and I have a layout to share with you! This is the second letter in my A-Z album I am making using all "Kasazz" products!

Big news is that out new 2010 Catalogue is online for you to peek at and I will have new copies and the "New Products" flyer at my January workshop on the 17th! Whoo Hoo! Some lovely new goodies for you all!!! Don't forget to come along for a great, relaxed day of Scrapping with me and a start on your 2010 projects!!!

This layout I did for Jayden's 11th Birthday and I used the "B" kit in the Catalogue! I am doing this album to showcase our lovely products and give you scrapbooking ideas for your pages!!

This will be an on going project and I hope it wont take me to long to complete! I will then have a great "Workshop" tool for my business! I am enjoying using the different products and getting to know them better; as being a new Consultant I am still learning about them!

Another project I want to do this year is a 52 Weeks album which is a layout a week for the whole year! I didn't think I would be able to attempt the 365 days album as just "not enough hours in the day!" LOL It will be great to look back on at the end of 2010!

I hope you continue my Scrapping journey with me, as I am having a blast with you all!

Hi Girls

Well, this year has certainly flown by again and looking back it has been quite a good year! I have a wonderful family and some great supportive and caring friends that have helped me along my way this year. I have appreciated you all being in my life and keeping me out of mischief! I hope you all find happiness and health in the new year and looking forward to lots more scrapping and chatting days with you all!

I just wanted to post a few happy "xmas snaps" of Xmas Eve and Day plus a lo I just finished for "Challenge Heaven" and my lovely Secret Santa pressie I put together! I got everyone to wear Santa Hats! I have lots of new scrapping inspiration here and I'm sure you will see some of my lo's with these photos in the New Year!

My sis and her husband and kids live at Mt Clear, Ballarat and today there was a fire near their home! They were ready for evacuation but luckily the sky crane helicopters got it under control!

A bit of panic tonite but they r all safe which is the main thing!

"Time for A couple More"

OK!, I did find time, don't ask me how to get a couple more layouts created this week!

I don't think I am as stressed with "Santa" not visiting us this year! (phew!)

The first layout is for the Dec Theme Callenge as Aussie Girls and you had to use lots of bling, so I used gold embossed stamping on background, stickles and bling on the flowers! I used lovely silver beading to hang the flowers! This was sooooo much fun. These photos are Cody and Jayden in 2000 and JJ just starting to realise what the man in the red Suit was all about! I was so great seeing his little face when he ws unwrapping Thomas The Tank! A close up of the "bling!"

The other Layout is the First Kaszazz layout for my A-Z album using a Kaszazz kits! This one is A for Affection and all the procucts I needed was included and I just used the supplies I had and added the Jumbo chip! You just follow the directions that come with it and it also lists all the supplies!

I used 12x12 Ivory cardstock, 1/4" Brown, Cream Stitch Ribbon, 12x12 Bazzill Basics Splash, Twill - Hope Dream Wish, Ivory Tag, double sided Paper -Azure Dots/Daisies, and added the Weird Jumbo Alpha Chipboard!

All these products are available to purchase through me!

"This Boy" & "Last Day"

Just whipped up this lo for the Mid Week Challenge at Home and Scrapped! Had to use the colours brown and blue and a song title! I use "This Boy" by James Morrison! The photos are of Jayden aged 4 playing on the front porch with a hammer and some wood! He is always busy, even now!

The other layout is the "Dec Sketch Challenge" at Challenge Heaven of Jayden's first year and last Yr at Colac Primary School! That time has gone so fast and now he is going to Secondary school next year, following his big brother's footsteps!

I don't think I will get much blogging done this week with work and the last minute things I need to do for xmas!

"Last School Gifts"

When I came home from work today, after being up since 5am, my darling son JJ helped me make his teacher and friend gifts for his last day at Colac Primary School on Thursday!

We made 20 Lolly bags with toppers and I finished off his teachers Mini Album! I used some lovely "Kaiser" xmas papers I had and used my cellophane card sleeves! JJ divided all the toffees into piles then put them into the bags for me! I cut out the paper and made the toppers! I think they actually look quite "festive"!

It was fun making them with him and sad to think this is the last lot of teacher's pressies, or "Mother's Day stall gifts I will make! There will be none of that next year I know as he will be at Secondary School! The end of a little journey for me and the start of another bigger one for JJ! (sigh!!!)

I was trying to take a nice photo of Cody and Jayden to add to my xmas cards but one son decided it was time to muck around and pull faces, as he always does! I think he learn't this tactic from his grand-father! Cody was annoying him too!

Is too much to ask for a nice photo of your kids!!! I was saying "please Jayden!" a fair bit by the end of it and I eventually got a nice photo of them both!! LOL!

"Xmas Workshop"

My busy ladies, from left ; Michelle, Kerrie, Mary, Pam, Alison (hiding behind) and Sheryn!

Today 6 of my friends and scrapbooking buddies came over for a bit of a "Xmas Celebration! Its a busy time of year and not everyone could make it!

I showed them how to make "Squash Albums" and we chatted and ate yummy festive food: fruit cake, mince pies, shortbread, dips and biscuits and the list goes on, drinks and presents! A nice bit of xmas cheer!

As I left my "Kaszazz " order a little late this week with school stuff, making gifts, and organising my workshop I had to improvise and use my stash for our Squash Albums! I made up about 16 kits of various colored card-stock, ribbon and double-sided papers and they chose one to make and one to take home!

They loved them and I think I inspired them to make some more for pressies! We had a great afternoon and all caught up before the "silly season" really set in! There was even a little pressie under the tree for them!!!

We even worked out a couple of ideas for workshops for next year!

"Wild Hair Day"

Just finished off my "Wild" Challenge entry for December at Challenge Heaven!

Had to use the word "WILD", distressing and more than 1 photo! I had these photos of Jayden from 2005 when he was in the "Spiked Hair and Blue Gel" phase!!!!LOL He is such a funny kid and he had to pose for these photos, as he loved his hair cuts back then! Now he just goes for the minimal spiked look!!! Growing up and not too over the top now, as he wouldn't be seen with Blue Hair Gel now!!!

"Year 6 Graduate"

Jayden had his Year 6 graduation thursday night and he has only 4 more days of Primary School left! It is hard to belive he is off to Secondary School next year and I am starting all over again! This lovely photo is of Jayden and his teacher Chris Angus!

They all had tea with their teachers at La Porchetta and then went back to the school for Ceremony! He received his Graduation Certificate and a Certificate of Appreciation for being a Yr 6 Peer Mediator he was also House Vice-Captain of Dennis Street. He has really matured this year and is well and truly ready for the next step of his "school journey"!

Cody said" well, mum you have practiced on me for the last 13 years now you know what to do for JJ!" He is right, all the things you don't know about through their school years and what things you need to know, I am set for Jayden's time at Secondary College! Thanks Cody!

Just wanted to share with you my layout for the "Step By Step" Challenge I just finished at Home and Scrapped! A fun challenge with Mistra who put one step at a time with pics and instructions to follow! Great fun and very happy with my layout of Jayden in the garden, "helping me!" haha!!

"Xmas Squash Book!"

I whipped up this "Xmas Squash Album" up tonite as a present for my mums best friend in Adelaide!

Every year I make our friends who live overseas and in different states a photo gift so they can catch up with the goings on here! They love them!!!

I used some Xmas double sided paper and some nice red cardstock I had in my stash to co-ordinate with it!

I put heaps of photos in it of my "family"! I'm sure she will get a surprise as I said I would send her "some photos"! I wanted to fill one with photos to show my workshop group on Sunday how to embellish them! You don't need to put as many photos as I did; you can also journal , stamp, embellish, what ever you want to do!!!

If you are interested in attending my workshop just let me know so I have a kit ready for you!

"Mini Squash Albums!"

OK Girls, this is the cute "Mini Squash Albums" we will be making at my Xmas Workshop this Sunday at 1.30pm. I will have a few different kits made up with some different Double sided Papers and card stocks for you to choose from! As I do! They are lots of fun to make and not too complicated! You then can take them home and put photos in them and make more for "Quick Xmas Pressies!" I am making them for Jayden's teachers as he finishes at the Colac Primary School this year!

Made this one as a gift from the "Kaszazz" double sided papers! Hope you like!

Hi There!

This first lo is the Goodbye Challenge at Crafting in Styles last Cyber Crop! Having heaps of fun and getting a few pages done! Got a couple more challenges to do and had fun playing "Disney Bingo" tonite, but didn't win though! Good on you Ali!!! I used some lovely photo's I had of our local gardens in the Autumn sunlight!

The second one of Cody dressed up, is my Nov Dress Up Challenge at Challenge Chics! Lots of fun doing this one! This was Kinder in 1996, hasn't he grown!!! I had to hand-cut something, use felt and ribbon! The lovely bird is from My 2 Angels!

Whoo Hoooo!!! Just letting you know I won 3 Challenges I entered and get to go shopping at D-lishscraps.com.au and madaboutscrappn.com.au,two lovely stores and a surprise coming in the mail from Marisa at Aussie Girls! Can't wait and very excited!!

Just sharing my latest challenge layout I created for Challenge Chics! I had to use the colours red, green and prurple, 3 different pattt papers and 3 photos!

I knew exactly the photos to use and the patt papers! I hid the journalling under the main photo and use a red ribbon tab. I stamped the Kaszazz Large and Small Pine Tree Flourishes, the Merry Xmas, and Monogram, then and embossed with purple embossing powder. I used a green ribbon slide and some purple ric-rac and I think it looks quite Christmasy!!

Check back over weekend as I will be making a "Squash Album" with the "Kaszazz" range of double sided papers and Bazzill Cardstock, which you can make next Sunday at my "Xmas Workshop! For details just email me if you are intending to come or look down the side-bar!

Tonite I had a great time doing an "on-line" class with a few of the girls over at "Chook Scraps" A lovely bunch of ladies!

We followed the instructions to make this layout and it was sooooo much fun! We used some pp and cs, had a go at a resist technique using acrylic paint! Very happy with the result!

I just completed my "Music Challenge " layout for Aussie Girls ! This is cody in the Prep-Year 6 concert in 2003! His last year of Primary School! He hates being in front of people and the look on his face in these photos says it all!

It was a music theme challenge and thought of these photos I hadn't scrapped! I made some background paper, used chipboard stars and felt from my RAK from Kim and a lovely journalling tag from my Swap!

Cody and his Yr 12 Co- Ordinator, Mrs Kate McGeary! She was a bit teary as she was worried about Cody in 3rd term, and thought he may give up! She helped him get going again! She is a great lady and the students are lucky to have her!!!

Hi Everyone,

Cody's Yr 12 Graduation was Monday night at the Colac Golf Club and it was a night I'm sure he will remember! Dress was Semi-Formal and they all looked lovely dressed up! I am so proud of him!

Jayden took some lovely photos of Cody and I before we left and I took some good ones there, and I'm sure in years to come he will love that I took the time to document his special night!

This is the layout I did for the Follow the Leader Challenge at Craft in Style! Another name for Blind Scrap! I quite like the stars for guy layouts and I used one of the lovely tags I got in my Swap from Aussie Girls!

I did this layout of the boys and dad! Quite happy with the outcome! Hope it looks right?

"Cyber Cropping!"

This card I created using , my "Kaszazz" products. I had two use two different patt papers, and doodle on your card! (not my strong point!) I used the large flourish and the Xmas monogram and the new "Alpine Flourish ds paper!
This beautiful photo of my sister Alison and brother-in-law Gavin's wedding 23 years ago, I used for the challenge set by the "chook scraps" "design team ladies! You had to use paint around a black and white or sepia photo and make your own embellishments! I do love making these flowers!!
The 3rd challenge was a sketch that was in the "forum" and you had to make it your own! I used this photo of JJ and Willo and used the colours to match his school uniform. To make it more 'boyish' I used star accents!

For the 2nd challenge you had to use "something old"-buttons, "something blue"- patt paper and cardstoc,. "something found"-the packaging from JJ's doona cover and "something new" the letttering in the title! This was fun!

The theme for the day was "Life's Journey and Milestones" I did this lo of Codys's Yr 11 Formal and I had to use pp for embellishments so I made the flowers, and use twine or fibre!

Hi Girls

What is a "Cyber Crop" you ask? This is like going to some ones house and scrappin all day or going on a retreat and scrappin for a few days, and talking and generally having a whole lot of "Scrappin' Fun!" Well a cyber crop is done on-line and you dont' need to lug alll your supplies along, and you still get to have heaps of fun, lots of chatting and getting lots of Scrappin' done!

Today I did 4 challenges + design Team challenge, a photo challenge and a card challenge! I got to think outside the square and get out of my comfort zone!

I joined in with the girls over at "Chook Scraps" and they gave me a warm welcome and helped me with any questions etc! It was so much fun and can't wait to do another!

For the photo challenge I used the lovely photo of my son and niece together and their milestones of finishing their VCE!

These are the layout I created today and I am a might happy with them!

I think that what Sam says to me everytime he comes up to me and puts his paw out or smooches with me! He "Kneads dough" on the boys and loves them to death! He isn't bothered with the dogs as much as I thought he would be! He has settled very well and as you can see is "very happy " to be home!!!"

On my other smaller table I have a few albums I am working on, my stickers in a basket to easily find what I want and another basket that hold my extra tape, sponges, stamp cleaner etc and on the far right my stackable drawers which hold my ink pads! And A pink container with stamps I use a fair bit of the time, as I stamp alot on my layouts and cards!
These two little shelf units I have in the corner with my paper, stamps, cuttlebug folders and items I don't want seen in my "Larder" that I bought from a "Wood Party" a couple of years ago! The doors come out and is a great space saver! I have my lovely "wall hanger" above that!
I decided to make it more "user friendly" and put my shelf unit in front of me so everything I use all the time was easily accessible! I kept my towel rails for displaying layouts, sorted through all my magazines and kept a few out for ideas!I have cut out heaps of ideas from the older ones and I am making an "Inspiration Binder" with all my ideas in it!

I can change the layout on the top shelf when I feel like it and I have my punches, chipboard, inks, embellis ,pens, pencils,scissors etc handy in reach! Not having to chase around finding things is half the battle!

I wasn't happy when I moved to in the lounge room with my scrappin bits and pieces! Took up too much space when I have a monthly workshop! I decided to go back into the kitchen where there is so much more light and I won't have to move anything when I'm work shopping in the lounge! Brilliant!

I know you all think I am mad, but I can't scrap happily if I'm not in my "Happy Place"!

"Christmas Card Frenzy"

That is what I have just had this afternoon with all my great girls who come to my workshops!

They used the "Embossed Moasiac" Technique I showed them to create a card then they used their imaginations and"Kaszazz" stamps and inks and double sided papttern paper to make a mountain of cards ready to give away!

They followed the ideas I had on my display board and come up with some great ones of their own! I made a few "not so traditonal" coloured ones in "purples", and was very pleased with them!

They all enjoyed themselves, it was a bit warm, but that did not stop their enthusiasm, and "cool" ideas flowing!

Don't forget next month we will be making the "Squash Books!"

This layout I did to make up my four Nov Challenges at Challenge Heaven! I did this one of mum and dad and the grandkids!

I used a bazzill heart die-cut card-stock and edged with distress ink. I had some pp I tore and distressed and mounted the 5x7" photo on!

I used a grunge board flourish made two flowers from the pp and stamped a calender accent from "Kaszazz", and some page pebbles from my RAK that Kim sent me!

This is the Layout I did for the November challenge at "Scrap the Boys" You had to use the Rhyme: snips and snails and puppy dogs tails, that's what little boys are made of!

This was fun and using puppy photos was a must do!!!

I hand stitched the circle, used some Puppy paper for photo mat, a 7 Gypsies journalling block, "Thickers" for the title and made some accents using punched out circles of pp and thenadhering them to page pebbles!

Thanks to you all for making my "Kaszazz Launch Workshop" such a success. It was a great afternoon and I greatly appreciate all your support and friendship!

I did another card to show you that you can make on Sunday this time I used the card folded a different way and silver embossing powder instead of the gold!

Also a photo of all the lovely "stamped Images" I received in the mail today from the Swap over at "Aussie Girls" They are a great group of girls and you can learn so much from one another and do great things like swaps, challenges, and even "Secret Santa!!!!

I got home from work yesterday and a two lovely packages were waiting for me to open! An "Early Xmas" The first one was my tag swap from Amanda at "Aussie Girls" which was some awesome journalling tags the girls had done, and the second was my RAK (Random Act of Kindness) from the lovely Kim Longden also with some lovely goodies to use on my layouts! Whoo Hoo! Thank you Kim I love it all!

I also had time to do a couple of xmas cards to show you the mosaic technique I will be showing you on Sunday, it is easy and has a lovely effect! We will be using some new xmas card colours and patterned paper from Kaszazz and some xmas stamps etc! Should be fun making some of those much needed xmas cards!

I created this layout for the "Oct Color Challenge at "Aussie Girls Gone Scrappn!" This was mum's 70th birthday and I snapped this lovely photo of mum and dad when he was giving her the beautiful ring he bought her! She was very surprised!

This was fun doing only being able to use pink, silver and white! Finding a photo to scrap in amongst all the "boy stuff" was the hardest part!

This photo is my sister Alison, my niece Crystal and my nephews Hayden and Mitchell. The middle photo is me and Cody and Jayden! I took a lovely photo of the two oldest Crystal and Cody; they are only 6 weeks apart in age!

My sister and I and our brood went to see Strassman "Live". He is so funny and very talented! How he does all the voices is beyond me! We love "Ted E Bear!"

What a great night we all had and laughed our heads off just about! I think I am still recovering as it was a very late night! We had to have a "Family" photo session before we left as we were dressed up! My brother in-law took some nice photos also!

The criteria for the challenge was a 5x7 inch photo, stitching a frame, paper strips, 5 embellishments, paint and placement of the title! I hope it looks something like it is supposed to!

This "Nov Quote Challenge" at Challenge Heaven, was heaps of fun to do! I made a tree from cardstock and added punched cirlces, buttons and some stamping! Just wanted to do something a bit different!

I will be MIA till Friday as I am taking the boys to Ballarat to see Strassman! (funny man with Ted E Bear and Chuck Wood!!) Should be great going with my sis and kids! Will be a late night but no work Friday as "Colac Show Day" Yeah!!!!!

Will post details of up and coming my workshop on the 15th and a workshop Janine and I are having together on the 22nd! Should be lots of fun!

"My Only Niece!"

I did this layout for Challenge Heaven to scrap about someone else you love besides your own kids! Crystal is my only Niece and then my sister and I decided to have boys! Cody and Crystal are 6 weeks apart in age but she is the only girl! She is a lovely young woman and she is studying to become a teacher!

These photos were taken earlier in the year when they were down from Ballarat at mum and dad's! I had to use lace which were the doilies and the bows and do handwritten journalling

Even though we don't get to see one another alot, we have fun when we do. Alison, Crystal and I like doing the girly things and we love some "Retail Therapy" It is nice to look at anything but toys and "boy stuff!"

"Nature Challenge"

I did this lo today for Jo's "Nov Nature Challenge" over at Challenge Chics! This photo was taken one cold Autumn morning last year going to my sister's at Ballarat. The fog was hanging over the road and of course I had to take a pic of it!

I used twigs from my garden, wooden buttons, hemp twine, mesh, cork, cardboard packaging and cheated with fake leaves! This was fun and really got me thinking about using natural products you can scrap with!

Last night I participated in a online class with a few other girls from "Challenge Chics"! Skye Johnson organised it and we donated $5 each to join in and she donated the money! A great cause and a great night of scrapping!

This is my layout of Sheryn, Mary, Jess and I having a scrapp'n avo when we were on holidays!

I used some bolder colors than I usually do and I am very happy with the result!

Hi Girls

A big "Thank-you" to all my friends and family for their support on Sunday on the "Launch" of my Kaszazz business!

Michelle did a great job demonstrating the above cards for the "Make and Take"and I could see you girls were having fun making them! It was great seeing you all and showing you all the new scrap-booking supplies! A mix of stamping, embossing and patterned papers were used to make these cards!

Michelle brought along scrapbooking papers, stamps, inks, rubons,chipboard, and off the page projects that are available to purchase through me!

Next months workshop I will be showing you a technique to use for making Christmas Cards or that you can use on your scrapbook pages! Should be lots of fun!

"A Cat With 9 Lives"

I couldn't believe when I came home from work yesterday and sat with my cuppa and put my feet up, that I would see a photo of my missing "Sam" in the "Colac Herald" our local paper!

He has been gone for awhile and a thought that was it! Maybe someone picked him up? I'm not sure where he has been? I rang our local council offices and the Ranger{ very nice lady} said I

could come out to the pound and see if he was mine! I took a photo and "Jayden" and sure

enough it was "Sam"! I got a bit teary and the lady understood! He is in good health and just needs some "TLC". He is going to be Microchipped next week so if he goes "walkies" again we will find him!

We brought him home and he will take a while to settle back in as he met "Sasha" and they had a few words, and he currently is in hiding under the chair! Willo and Nitro know he is there but doesn't seem that bothered!

I think he is very luck to be home and has definitely got "9 LIVES!"

"Handmade Embellishments"

Today, I felt like making some flowers and buttons from the tutorial on "Challenge Heaven " and the one I found "blog hopping"! (hopping from blog to blog!!)

I used my left over scraps from the layouts I have been making, and now I have accents ready for more pages! They didn't take me that long to make!

The flowers I used buttons in the middle instead of brads, and the buttons are about as big as a 5 cent piece! Have a go at making these they were fun!

"Blue and Brown Challenge"

This is my layout for the 3rd Challenge I have completed at Challenge Heaven! I had these photos taken in Nov 07 at the College and hadn't scrapped a page! I did do a frame with all of us that hangs in the lounge!

I used Bazzill cs and choc chip SU, pp from Paper Trunk, I made the small flowers with 5 petal punch and the spiral punch down the sides of smaller photos! A bit of paper tearing and distressing!

Had to use blue and brown tones and I even made a flower from one of the tutorial links in the Forum! Such Fun!

"Blind Challenge"

I had a go at the "Blind Challenge" Shell has going over at Challenge Heaven! Shell put the requirements we would need to make the scrap page in the "Forum" and then we all met in the "chat room" last night and followed her instructions to complete this page! It was an online-crop!

It will be interesting to see how everyone interpreted her instructions! It was so much fun, and I am looking forward to the next one in about a fortnight! I highly recommend going over joining up and having ago! It is so much fun!!!

This is a bit of a fun layout I have just completed for my 2nd Challenge at Challenge Heaven. You had to use buttons, journalling strips and star/s, and the "Quote"! Lots of fun fun fun!!!

Jayden loves having a milk moustache so of course I had to take a photo!

I actually "scrap-lifted" this from a layout I did about 2 years ago at a crop! It was ideal with the star theme!

Sorry girls if you are getting sick of my "Challenge" entries! Do go and have a look yourselves and try them out! They are very inspirational and fun! This is posted at "Challenge Heaven ", the link is on my side-bar! They are lovely girls at all the Challenge blogs!

This one of "Willo and "Nitro is for the "Word Challenge" using Adorable for your title, ribbon and stamping on your layout. I used some Kaiser paper, Baroque Stamped background, ribbon from my stash, punched accents from the pp and my eyelet border punch!

Since doing these I am finding I want to scrap more and try their different ideas out, and learn something new on the way!

"Kaszazz Products"

Hi again

Just got my order back from the "Kaszazz" "Make and Take' that I went to and I had to post them here to show you all!

I bought a single car stamp to use on Jaydens Classic Car photos, some cute buttons and stitching stamp, gorgeous bird and swirl and a tape measure(forgot to put it in photo!) for my heritage pages! I couldn't resist adding two more distress inks to my collection and I have been dying to use some crackle paint! I got the mini misters to spray on my stamped images to give a watery effect! You can buy card stock already cut into A5 size to make cards- Bonus!! The cats eye ink was a customer "freebie"! No Cutting out of stamps required!!!!!

This is just a few of the hundreds of products available!!!

I will get my act together now and do a layout or cards with them to show how to use them and you will be able to see them "up close and personal" on the 25th!

"Negative Space Challenge"

This was lots of fun to do as it took me out of my comfort zone of not using lots of photos and a whole page! The "negative space" is the space not used on the layout! It was a great fun challenge over at "Born To Create" This was a beautiful photo of Cody sleeping with the sunlight coming through the window at mum and dad's! He looked like an "Angel"

I used Bazzill Card-stock, some Kaiser flowers, a mini mask with the white paint, and the bird stamp is from Kaszazz. It stamped beautifully on the acrylic block!

I am doing 4 other layout challenges from "Challenge Heaven so will post them as I get them completed! Stay tuned, hope my layouts give you some inspiration!

"Shabby Chic"

Hi Everyone, I have been doing the "challenges" over at "Born2Create and "Aussie Girls gone Scrappn"

This is the first ever "Shabby Chic " layout I have attempted! the photo is of mum and dad. The theme was to use 'pink shades'!

I distressed some lace and used some organdy ribbon, tore patterned paper and inked the edges, used some polka dot vellum, flowers, chipboard and stamped swirls! I also added a few little butterfly and heart embellies! Hope you like!

I have left Stampin Up! due to personal reasons and I am now an Independent Kaszazz Consultant!

"Scrapping Crazy"

You will probably think I am going crazy as I just joined the "Aussie Girls Gone Scrappin" Group! They have just started and they have challenges, Tips and techniques and you can chat if you want to! They are a lovely group of ladies if you want to join in!

I did this this layout for this months "Quote Challenge" Had to use Amanda's quote; "LAUGH as much as you breathe, and LOVE as long as you live..." ribbon, metal embellishments and chipboard! It was great fun to do and made me think of different ways to use products!

I masked the Quote title, made ribbon corners with a metal slider and inked and stamped on the chipboard hearts! these photos were of the boys and dad on Fathers Day last year! I am pretty happy with the result!

"Mine is Done, Is Yours?"

Completed my "Challenge Page" yesterday after work and I am quite happy with it!

I used Bazill Card-stock for the background, then I layered some Kasiercraft Double Sided Paper on top, then the Creamy Caramel.

I secured it to page with Jumbo Eyelets. I cropped my photos to size to fit on page.

Then I used the Tim Holtz mask and and Walnut Distress ink to make my Title. I used a tag from my stash to journal on and I used my Tab Punch and Everyday Flexible Phrases Stamp set for words on tabs!

I managed to get 15 photos on this layout! Its a great way to use photos from an event like Christmas or Birthdays!

I quite enjoyed this challenge and using a color scheme I don't use that much! I hope you all got something out of this challenge also!

"Today is World Card Making Day'

These cards were easy a little paint, PP and hey presto some lovely cards! Too easy!!!
This Pen holder was fun to make using up the scraps I had left over!! JJ was impressed!!

This is the day we "Celebrate with all the card makers in the world all their creations! Have you made a card or 10 today!

Here is a couple I whipped up today after taking my boy's to Geelong today for our "holiday shopping day" As I couldn't get any time off work, and we are having a "Stay Cation" (holiday at home") it was today or not!!!!

The boy's have been great this week and understand that I had to work! GRRR!!!! I also managed time to decorate my "Embellishment Caddy" I found at Kaisercraft! I also altered a texta holder JJ said I could have, and made a few cards with the scraps I had left over!

"Challenge No 3"

OK girls, this one will get the thinking caps on! I want you to create a 12x12 0r 81/2x11 double page layout, journal in your own handwriting, do a some form of a masking technique and use a Brown Monochromatic scheme! Monochromatic means the same colour in different shades/hues.This challenge is to get alot of those 'stored' photos on a layout

I can hear the "I can't do that!" Hogwash, of course you can, that is why it is a challenge!! You could do masculine pages, autumn pages, a sporting page or a nature page! Just a few ideas, look at your photos, choose the card stocks and papers to match and GET TO IT!!!! (harsh aren't I! he he!!)

I thought a couple of sketches might help you with photo placement etc!

Just have fun and get some 'scrappin' done!!!

"A New Card"

I went to a "Kaszazz" scrapbooking day with my sister in Ballarat on Sunday! Danielle the lady doing the demonstration made 2 cards and then we all made this one! We had a great afternoon and mum actually came with us to the demo! She used Tim Holtz Distress ink, kraft cardstock on black card, gingham ribbon and a lovely stamp! There was alot of scrapbooking products available to purchase and they also had card making, stamps, inks, embellishments, ribbons etc. Lovely products!

"My Challenge Layout!"

For my layout I used Bazill Textured Cardstock and some DSP I had in my stash! I printed the photo on Cardstock to give it a canvas effect and made a large title with Creative Memories stickers. I stamped some Acrylic Stamp birds from "Scrappy Cat" on my patterned paper and used Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Distress ink on my paper edges!

I inked a chipboard piece from Stampin Up!s On Board Tweet and a bracket I had in "Faded Jeans" distress ink and I made a flower from some scraps! I was a bit lazy and printed my journalling on the computer!I was going to use one of the sketches but ended up with a different idea!

"Not Happy"

"OMG" You are all getting a bit spoilt with four "Posts" today!

I don't usually "re-do" layouts I have done, but since posting the challenge layout I did I was not happy with the title so I re-did it! I am much happier with it now and changed the way I positioned everything! I think it is "worthy" now to hang on my wall display!!

"Going with my Change!"

Having my "Scrapbooking" area in the kitchen hasn't quite worked like I thought it would. It"s a bit of a pain when I have guests and need the kitchen table!

I decided to go back into my "Corner Cubby" of the lounge room, then when I need to set up for a workshop I only need to put tables together! Tooo easy!!!

I left the shelf unit in the kitchen and I turned the towel rails which I had my punches and supplies on into a "Photo Display"! I think it is more efficient for me now and "inspires" me to create!- which is the main thing!

I have used baskets to keep my punches, stamps, photos and bits n pieces in handy spots so I can find them easily! I used the two shelf units and re-organised my supplies! I am a bit of a "product junkie" but who isn't and I do use them eventually!!! What more could I really need?

Hi Everyone,

Last Saturday Jayden (my 12 year old son) and I went over to Camperdown to see the "Classic Car Display"! This is usually a "dad thing" but as the boys were with me and I promised him a month a go I would take him off we went!

WOW! what a great afternoon we both had! JJ didn't know which way to go first and he had the camera! 195 photos later,( thank god for digital ) he thought he had enough to scrapbook his own album! He took photos of engines, wheels and the pictures that were detailed on them! The cars and the atmosphere was great, we looked around and JJ told me the names of the cars! He is very clever in that department and is "obsessed" with Classic Cars! He wants to be a mechanic and a car designer when he leaves school!

His favourite is the "64" Ford Mustang and the excitement from him was amazing!! It was great to share a day with my youngest and doing something he really has an interesst in!

Before we came home we went up the top of Mt Leura for a look around and we missed all the rain until coming home! I am sure he will remember our day in years to come with all his "photos" he is going to scrap! He is now looking forward to the "Show and Shine" in Jan at Colac!

Hi Everyone

I just wanted to say "Good Luck" to my Cats today and hope they can make it two out three!

I have followed Geelong with my dad since I was a kid and I am not just hopping "on the band wagon" I know a lot of you don't care but I was annoying everyone at work yesterday so I will get heaps Monday if we loose! Oh well, gotta take the good with the bad! I am heading to Ballarat tomorrow with my mum for the day to see my sis and family! Hope you all have a great weekend what ever you are doing!

Ok girls this weeks scrapbooking challenge will have you shaking in your shoes!! haha!!

This is the week to make a layout about yourself and a bit of journalling which is the most important parts of any Scrapbook!!! Yes, I know don't want to do it! but that's the idea! Get out of your comfort zone and have ago!!! We need to meet who is behind the camera as well you know!

The only limit is your title must be "10 things about me!" there are no supplies limits but you must do some form of journalling! It can be a list, paragraphs, or anything else you would like to include on your layout! You can use one of the sketches above if that helps to get the creative flow going! I will post my layout as soon as I get a chance to make it, with my alarm going off at 5am every morning this week!!!!! Grrrr!!!!

"Just Meandering"

WOW! What a great day we had today making the "Meander Mini Albums" also know as "Maze Books"! They are so cute and all you ladies did and exceptional job of following my "sometimes" wonky instructions!

I am so glad you enjoyed your day and are happy to stick with me in my new direction with my business! Everyone has great ideas and it's so much fun when we can all get together and toss them around! I am so looking forward to scrapbooking with all you ladies every month!!!!

For these "Mini Albums" we used doublesided Designer papers, matching cardstock, and punched, inked and pasted the afternoon away!!

"Challenge Layout"

HI There,

I must admit I had fun doing my "Challenge Layout!" I had to stop and not go over board with embellishments and think about where I was putting the photos and the journalling!

I didn't matte the photos or use pattened paper on the background, nice and simple and it took me about an hour to do!

My mum and her life long friend Val have been through thick and thin together spanning over 60 years! To have a friendship like that is something to treasure. I had to scrap these photos!

I used Bazzill Textured Cardstock as my base and then I adhered some ribbons to make a focal point and group the photos together! I put my "ONE WORD TITLE" on the side, my "TWO LABELS" in the middle for balance and my " 3 FLOWERS" on the corners of photos! It's a "girly" layout but not too much! What do you think?

Do you like my title! I smeared "Texture Paste" over the cardstock and stamped in the paste: lots of fun! See how you can use any medium on your layouts and bring the "Artist" out in you!!!! Hope you have fun with this challenge, I am now looking forward to next weeks!

"Challenge Yourself" Scrapbooking Challenge No 1

A scrapbooking challenge is a great way to get the "MOJO" going and is really fun! Sometimes I get the dreaded "Scrapper's Block" and need inspiration and this is the way to go! You can get out of your "Comfort Zone" which is good to expand what you can scrap! There are lots of "challenge blogs" and "ideas" out there to help you!

My challenge for you is this: On your layout only use

1. A one word title.

2. Use 2 tags or labels.

3. Use 3 flowers! It doesnt matter what prouct brand you use! Use what you have!!!

I will be setting a challenge every week so don't think you are going to get out of not scrapping!!!! haha!

This should be fun and you can email a photo and I will put it on my blog! I will be doing mine and hopefully will have it up by the weekend! I would love to see what you come up with, or you can bring them Sunday to my workshop to give us all some "Inspiration"

"A few Ideas that might help you do more layouts!"

- Scrapbook your favourite food

- Use many photos on your layout

- Make your own ribbon accents

- Use paper tearing on your photo mattes

- Use circles instead of sqares

- Create your own flower embellishments

- Make a layout about you!

- Use buttons somewhere on your page

- Only use cardstock

- Scraplift an idea from a magazine

- Do a technique you have wanted to try

I hope these few prompts might help get the "creative Juices" flowing!

"Scrap-a-holic"

I had to scrap these photos of Jayden using his new writing set! He was so happy just writing his story!
Products Used: Bazzill textured cardstock, basic Grey pp, Kaisercraft Rubons, and a colour blocking template!

I think I am a "Scrap-a-holic" when I brave 0 degrees on a cold winters morning to take photos of the frost in our street and on the lawn! But, saying that it's great to capture the "Everyday Moments" as well as the big celebrations! Jornalling on your layouts is the most important part also so in years to come when you are not around your pictures will tell the story!!!!

Products Used: Bazzill Cardstock, Basic Grey patterned paper, background paper I made myself, and I stamped a title and added a couple of punched flowers!

"My New Direction"

Hi Everyone

I have made a decision about the direction I want to go with my business! As you know I have been madly doing workshops and making cards and not spending enough time on my "Scrap booking"! I have decided to concentrate more on the Scrap booking side of my business rather than Card making. I have given this lots of thought, and thought and thought!!!

I love Stampin'U! products but I admit they are very limited for Scrap booking Products when you know what else is available out there! I love using new products; who doesnt and I think you should all have that freedom and choice too!! So my September workshop will be the last workshop I do solely committed to using Stampin'Up! I hope you aren't disappointed with my decision but I will still be doing my monthly workshops and showing you great products and techniques to use on layouts and cards!

Scrap booking to me isn't just the paper, ink and stamps! It is the way to tell my story and let my children know their heritage! I am looking forward to the next stage of my "journey" with you all and showing you new ideas, and having a great time together! I want our workshops to be a nice relaxing day where I can join in the fun too! I know most of you girls don't get enough "me" time and this is one way you can spend an afternoon with friends doing something other than worrying about the housework or running to the clock!

If there is a particular technique or project you would like to try please let me know and we can incorporate it into a workshop! The ideas we can bring to one another is half the fun and what it is all about! I love having you come and enjoy the day and take home what you have learnt and use it on your own projects! That is why I love doing this! I will have a chat to you all on Sunday and give you a bit more information!

I hope you will continue "My Scrapping Journey" with me as there is so much more to learn!

I thank you for your support so far and I will continue to do the same for you!
